Chelsea Football Club was founded in 1905 and is based at Stamford Bridge, West London.  Chelsea football club are also known as 'The Blues' or previously nicknamed 'The Pensioners.'  They have spent the majority of their time in the top tier of football and more recently during the 2005-2006 season, they became Premier League champions for the second consecutive year running. Chelsea traditionally play in royal blue shirts, royal blue shorts and white socks and their traditional crest is a blue lion holding a staff.
