The Incredibles is a feature length animation produced by John Lasseter for Pixar, Walt Disney Pictures.  The story was originally written by Brad Bird, famous for The Iron Giant and was written for Warner Brothers productions, however when Warner Brothers Pictures closed their animation department Disney's Pixar decided to develop it with Brad Bird as director.  It is the first animated feature length movie to consist of a whole cast of human characters and was considered to be one of the highest grossing dvds of all time when it was released in 2005.
